Family!

Sorry we didnt email yesterday, District meeting was switched because we had to go to the Capital for Hna Santana's visa stuff.  So WHOO!  You get an email today!

Ok, this week was awesome, I dont care who ya are.  We had our FIRST BAPTISM!!!!  It was the best!  Marlon was married on Friday night and baptized on Sunday.. and on this next Sunday he will be confirmed, recieve the priesthood and baptize his wife.  How cool is that?!  I have pictures.  I'll send em.

ok, my list now.

We had a conference with only the hermanas in the mission on Friday too, it was way cool.  SO MUCH FOOD!  We learned a ton, and we also made it back in time for the wedding of Marlon and Lesly.  It was close... but we made it.  BAH!  haha... poor Hermana Merrell.. she got a little sick on the bus and for the rest of the night was running in and out of bathrooms... oh boy... haha... shes fine now, so we can laugh about it.  heck, we laughed while it was happening.. Lets just say that some houses in Parramos dont have very thick walls... and we could hear everything..... haha

We might have another baptism other than Lesly this sunday too!  Might... Eveline.  We keep challenging her, and she accepted!  But then she said she needed more time.. So it could be this week, could be next week.  We're not sure.

Oh, changes next week!  Holy mackerel!  I have been out here for a whole change almost!  How crazy is that?

We also have another kid, Pablo that we are trying to get him baptized this week or the next.  oh! and Pedro!  How could I forget?  Pedro is getting baptized sometime soon too....

Shout out to MAREE RICHARDSON!!  How are you?  Tell me everything.  :)

OH!  heck, I had a camera miracle!  You are going to scold me, but you also need to hear the story.. I accidentaly left my satch pack open and my camera fell out in the capital.. and people were whistling at us to get our attention, but we were doing our part and ignoring them.  And then we finally looked because they were freaking out and a man came running at us with my camera!  How cool?  Faith in humanity.  That would have been so easy for them to take it.  But they didnt.  These are good people I tell you!

Oh, I got your DearElders again at the hermanas conference!  And I was so happy to hear from you!  Carol Dawn, I am so glad you like reading my letters!  It makes me happy to know someone reads these things! ;)  But really, you are awesome and thank you for being so supportive! :)

.... So I made a friend my first week here, I just keep forgetting to mention him... His name is Waldo... and get this!  He's a flea!  WHOO!  Who knew people could have fleas?  Not me!   but its possible!  And its a party everyday.  I will continue to play the wheres waldo game, but he's tricky and I dont think Im going to find him. Whatere.  I dont really mind.

The parents here are so funny.  Most of the kids are learning English in school, so the parents are always having us practice talking with them.  Its so fun. :)

We have this one investigator, Juan Jose.  He is the best.  He has a wheel chair type thing... but its more like a bike.. but a wheel chair... but a bike... its a wheel chair with a bike attached.. and the peddling part is handled with his hands.  Its awesome.  but one day we chased him down to contact him and now he is going to church and still taking our lessons.  So I think he will be getting baptized soon too.  :)

Ok, escrituras:

1 john 4:7-9 and 18-21
Luke 24:29-32--if we ask our Savior to stay with us, He will!  He will comfort us!  And we will learn so much.  Bah.  I love it.
¨Hope of God's Light¨ by President Uchtdorf
Come, All ye Sons of God by President Monson

Ok, I will read your emails now.  LOVE YOU!  Adios!  Have fun and be safe and happy and tell everyone I love them.  :)
