my family!!!

Surprise!  im writing today! i forgot to tell you last week.  so dont feel bad. its my fault... and whoops!  

But holy cow.  are you guys ready?!?!?!  Like really ready?  because get this! remember Amilcar?  well, his son, Pedro, we thought was a putz.  but maybe no.. because, we have been working with him and his wife Sandra (girlfriend) for a while now, but they never wanted to get married.  but we show up to their house on wednesday, my comp made a joke about a rubber ring Pedro was wearing, she said, oh thats for the wedding? and they said, sure.. when is the wedding?  my companion, Saturday, them.  ok... so we grabbed their documents to send to the lawyer and guess who planned and carried out a wedding in less than 4 days!!  us!  that was nuts! i was so exausted. i have lots of pics.  dont worry, ill definitely send those.  and then Saturday, they got married, and sunday, Sandra got baptized.  that was nuts too... we couldnt find anywhere the clothes to get her baptized, so we found a white shirt at the church, a young woman, (i think she is 14) that had a white skirt, and we made her switch.  the poor girl!  she was so confused why she had to do it.  i just kept giving her some of those chocolate eggs that you sent for easter and telling her to stop thinking about it and to just eat.  she did.. and then we scored her skirt out of all of that!  

also, i would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN!!!!!! And in advance, because im going to forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!! 

on friday... my worst nightmare came to pass.... we were standing in the house of a recent convert. Ana, and i always feel things on my feet and legs, but when i look, its always nothing. so when i felt something on my foot that night, i didnt do anything, but then it went to my other foot... so finally i looked.. and get this!!!!! IT WAS A COCKROACH the size of my thumb!!!!!  I HATE COCKROACHES.  THey are horrible. and when i expressed my horrible fear to Ana, she just laughed and laughed and laughed.  her son killed it, and then i told them how before the mission i had never seen one of those in real life, and how you cant kill the bugs here because they are small animals.  too big.  if you kill it, you can leave its little body on the floor like a normal bug.  you have to burry it.  she got a good kick out of that.  

We had those divisions with hna merrell and her comp.  those were fun.  we caught up. which was nice. 

tomorrow we have pday and we are going to Antigua.  and... wednesday, we have a meeting with President Brough.  the last one.  so sad.  but i hope you guys can go to his home coming.  he told me to invite you guys.  and Uncle Jim and his family.  so all you guys gotta go.  ya just gotta!  :) 

also, if you can look up something called "zion noriega alvarado industries"  they are in my ward and make stuff, like covers for things, for scriptures, lots of things.  and if you want some sick awesome scripture covers from guatemala, you might wanna check it out.  i can get it for a deal.  but also all the boys and paige and ian and everybody can look.  they are pretty cool. there are some that are leather, those would be the cooler ones.

ok, thats all!  i love you guys!! be so happy! hope everyone is studying from pmg and the scriptures and having fhe, and doing all that good stuff.  bye!!
