My FAmily!!!
Baptism baptism baptism YEAH! Holy mackeral. Guys,
Amilcar, the prideful one got baptized. he mostly waited for changes
because he didnt want to get baptized with Hna Marroquin... he even said,
"you are here to plant the seed, and another missionary, the next one,
will come to cosechar.. reap?" i dont remember what that is in english.
But that was a cool baptism.
i really will send pics today. that is my goal. and imma be
focused on reaching it.
ok, This week has been so awesome. I love my new comp.
her name is Hna Blandino, she is from Nicaragua. sweet right?!
and we are still the sister training leaders together. Its so much
fun with her. I feel like we were meant to be companions.
Hna Turley finished her mission guys, and guess what!! i
got to see her at church for her last sunday here. her family came to pick her
up and they all came. way cool. some day we will do fun things with her
again. but it is so nuts how fast time flies.
We inherited the other area and holy cow are we busy, before,
there were various moments of searching for someone to teach and lots of
rejection, but now there are so many people to baptize and visit that we just
run from house to house. it is a dream come true and a nightmare.
because we are seeing lots of success, but we literally dont have time to
visit everybody in the day.
We will start doing divisions with the other sister missionaries
soon, this week, and that should be fun. Ill let you know how that
goes.
guys, i have so many stories to tell you guys. but youre
going to have to wait.. its funnier to tell them in real life.
we are teaching an 8 year old that we found yesterday, his
grandpa is a member and poco a poco his grandkids have been getting baptized.
the partents of this patojo arent baptized, so we are working with them
too, but this kid asked us, when are you going to teach me? i want to get baptized.
so wow.. that will do folks!
church was so awesome! we had 8 investigators there.
that was such a miracle. we havent had that many in a long time.
and i know that it is all becuase of God. He helped us SO MUCH!
always does. tan fiel es. But that was so cool.
yesterday, i learned a very valuable lesson... i want you
to imagine with me, just for a moment that you are in guatemala, walking down
the street. there are lots of fun stuff going on, but the funnest is that
in almost all the evangelical churches they have horrible music going.
but here was one that was kinda cool! so i wanted to creep a look,
but it was all blocked off to see inside, and then, as i was walking and not
paying too much attention to where i was stepping, i step in a huge puddle..
seconds later, still not paying attention, i step in another huge puddle with
my other foot. what a blessing. Yesterday it rained the whole day.
non stop and the word on the street is that its going to continue raining
for 3 more days. its stopped for right now, but itll start again.
I love you lots! hope all is well, hope everyone is reading the
scriptures, preach my gospel, and helping the missionaries. tell them i
say hi.
ok, i love you! be safe and happy and adios!
Love,
Hna Evans
